Fitness Ridge Worldwide LLC


Thank you for your interest in accommodating our Fitness Ridge Resort at your property. Prior to sending us information on your property, please take a moment to review the information below to determine if your property meets our initial requirements.

Fitness: Biggest Loser Resorts require an extensive fitness environment as our focus is on mind, health and body. We will need dedicated areas to accommodate our guests.

Model  

Aerobics Room


  1. We need a minimum of 2,000 square feet per room. The number of rooms will be determined by projected guest count.

  2. Typically, each facility will need to acquire new equipment to our brand standards. If your facility has relatively new equipment that you wish considered, please list the type of equipment (by manufacturer and model) and age.

  3. If your property does not currently have this area, please explain how your property would accommodate this requirement. Some properties have offered reconfiguring surplus meeting room space for example.

  4. If your property does not have an area that can be adapted, please indicate ownership’s willingness to build a new space or purchase a temporary building structure and outfit it for this use.

 

Fitness Room


  1. We need a minimum of 2,000 square feet per room. Please provide the square footage of the area that will be dedicated to our use.

Pool


  1. Please provide the dimensions, whether it is enclosed and the shape of the pool. We need exclusive use of a pool at least Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm that is at least 60’x40’ with a depth of 4’ for the majority of the length so that our guests can engage in pool exercise and the preference is for 75’ length if the guest rooms for the program exceed 75 rooms.

  2. If your property is in a four season environment, please let us know whether you would be willing to pay for and enclose the pool.

  3. How new is the pool furniture surrounding the pool?

  4. Are there bathrooms nearby for guests to use?

  5. Are there outdoor or indoor showers?

  6. Are there lockers for the guests by the pool?

 

Hot Tub


  1. 1. If the property contains one, please provide dimensions and whether it is located indoors or outdoors. If not, please let us know if the property will pay for one. We need a minimum of 10’x15’.

 

Other Amenities


  1. Does the property have tennis courts? If so, indicate how many.

  2. Basketball courts? If so, indicate how many.

  3. Are there hiking trails that can be accessed on or adjacent to the property that would not

  4. Require van service?

  5. Does the property have vans that can be utilized by our guests and trainers during the day?

  6. Are there any interesting local recreation/parks/hiking nearby? Please describe.

  7. Please indicate any other athletic facilities at your property.

  8. What is the size of the property in acres?

 

Spa Area


  1. Does your property currently have a spa? If so, please describe.

  2. If not, is there an area that can be utilized for Biggest Loser Resorts? Specifically, does your

    property contain an area that can be converted into at least 8-10 daily use spa services such as hair salon, facials, massage etc. the rooms will need to be located together but all do not require windows.

  3. Salon – this space should be 250 square feet or larger and must contain windows with a view.

  4. Steam – please indicate whether you have men’s and women’s and the size (capacity) or n/a

  5. Sauna - please indicate whether you have men’s and women’s and the size (capacity) or n/a

 

Additional Questions


  1. We will require that these areas will be branded and we will need appropriate signage throughout the property and on the street such as a monument sign.

  2. If located within an existing property, please indicate how you propose checking in our guests. Our guests check in on Sundays and leave on Sundays.

  3. If located within an existing property, would our guests’ hotel rooms be in a separate building or a separate wing or mixed in with the other property’s guests? Will we occupy separate buildings or will they be located for example in a wing of a larger building or on separate floors?

  4. Please describe the room itself. How many queen size beds versus double doubles vs. king beds?

  5. What other amenities are in the room?

  6. Are the showers walk-in or tub/shower combination?

  7. How large is the bathroom?

  8. Do the rooms have views?

  9. When were the rooms last renovated?

  10. When were the mattresses last replaced?

  11. What size television do you have in the rooms? Are the TV’s flat screens?

  12. What is the maximum number of rooms that we can utilize?

 

Rooms Support


Laundry room – please indicate whether you have self-service guest laundry facilities and if so, the number of machines. We typically need a minimum of 5 washers and 5 dryers.

Housekeeping –daily maid service that requires making the bed, emptying the trash, and changing towels and a complete clean on Sundays and Wednesdays.


Other Functional Requirements


3 Test Rooms – these are rooms where the staff provides health evaluations for incoming guests. Please indicate if you have an area to accommodate this need. Each room dimension only needs to be 10’x10’.

Meeting room – preference for a room that can accommodate 100-150 people. What audio/visual capabilities does it have if any?

Reservations – please explain how our guests would be checked in. Will there be a separate check-in area for the program’s guests? Guests arrive on Sundays and check out on Saturday/Sundays.

Retail Shop – we require a minimum of 500 square feet with up to 1,000 square feet in a high visibility area to the guests, typically located adjacent to the lobby. Please indicate if you have this space and where it is located.

Storage – please describe your storage capabilities if any. 5-7 office spaces – these are for on-site management Other qualities about your property – please describe

Date of last property renovation – please provide date and the list of areas that were covered. Also provide the dates of any scheduled renovation over the next 24 months and how that may impact our use of the property.

Will the area designated for our use have a separate entry or area that can be branded?


Dining


  1. We serve three meals per day service. Everyone eats the same food with the exception of people who follow a vegan diet. Menus are set 30 days in advance. A salad bar with fruit is also provided during lunch and dinner service throughout the day. We do not allow any caffeine products for our guests but do serve herbal tea, water and juice.

  2. Please indicate whether you have a full-service kitchen and describe the size, whether you have walk-in freezers etc.

  3. Would we have a separate kitchen or shared facilities?

  4. How would we account for our food if located in a common area?

  5. We require 3 meals per day service.

  6. Can you accommodate 200 people in one dedicated room?

  7. Please describe the room. Does it have windows? Guests eat family style in long table

    configurations. Does your facility have this?

  8. When was the dining room last renovated?
